Hunters Croft Bed and Breakfast
Hunters Croft is a family run cottage bed & breakfast nicely situated on the outskirts of Sway village, overlooking open fields, being on the B3055, a car is essential as there are no footpaths.
Set in two and a half acres of gardens & paddocks, which are home to variety of poultry and animals with lovely country views.
John and Stephanie offer a very warm welcome to their home, which has a long history, as parts of the house date back well over 260 years and has been sympathetically extended and decorated.
They know that quality and service are key requirements of any discerning guest and will endeavor to make your stay a truly memorable one.
The Rooms
The Garden View Room is on the first floor with lovely views over the gardens , a sumptuous king size bed with quality linen, duvet & pillows, a sitting area, flat screen television with freeview , refrigerator with fresh milk, complimentary WIFI, tea & coffee making facilities, a large en-suite bathroom with a bath & shower over.
Paddock view room is a large room on the first floor with far reaching views across our paddocks and fields beyond, a sumptuous king size bed with quality linen, duvet & pillows, a sitting area, flat screen television with freeview, refrigerator with fresh milk, complimentary WIFI, tea & coffee making facilities, en-suite bathroom with bath & separate shower cubicle.
Little Croft is also a large ground floor room in our annex, this a very quiet room with patio doors leading onto a decked area, this has views across the gardens and paddocks, a sumptuous king size bed with quality linen, duvet and pillows, a sitting area, flat screen television with Freeview, refrigerator with fresh milk, complimentary WIFI, tea & coffee making facilities, en-suite shower room with large shower cubicle.
All rooms are suitable for double, or single occupancy, we do not accommodate children, or pets.
Dining
Breakfast is served in our spacious conservatory overlooking the garden .
Where possible all food is sourced from local suppliers, eggs are laid by our own chicken and are delicious scrambled with smoked salmon, or as omelettes, alternatively enjoy our sumptuous full English breakfast, or vegetarian alternative followed by home made bread, preserves and local honey.
There is also a self service buffet incorporating a selection of cereals, fruits & yoghurt .
We can also cater for special diets, please advise us in advance of your arrival.

Lounge area & Garden
Our conservatory offers a relaxed seating area, which opens out onto a decked area where you are welcome to relax, appreciate the views across the garden and paddocks, during the summer months enjoy relaxing on the decking sofas.
Parking and Transport
We have ample parking in a secure environment behind electric gates.
If you are arriving by train we can generally arrange collection from Sway railway station, if bicycles are required these can be pre-arranged and delivered, alternatively we have our own cycle storage.
Public Houses & restaurants
There are three public houses within a four minute drive of Hunters Croft & an excellent, varied selection of restaurants in the local New Forest area, please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any details.

Sway
Sway is located just four miles from Lymington and is on the southern edge of woodland and heathland, and much of the children’s novel “The Children of the New Forest” is set in the countryside surrounding Sway.
Sway tower is visible from much of the New Forest, being 66 metres tall and built on a private estate as a mausoleum.
Eating Out
Sway village offers a family run country hotel restaurant and three fine public houses, all within a three minute drive of Hunters Croft, it is not possible to walk, as there are no suitable footpaths.
There are many superb pubs and restaurants dotted throughout the New Forest, we shall be happy to suggest options to suit any occasion.
Directions
Both Google & Apple maps will lead you to the gate of Hunters Croft, alternatively take the A337 through Brockenhurst, over the level crossing towards Lymington, at the Filly Inn turn right, follow this road for 3.4 miles, as you enter the 40mph speed restriction slow down, Hunters Croft is immediately to your left.
